So now I’m in charge of my own blog. Scary.

We were supposed to be sailing the Star of India today, but circumstances got in the way. In addition, this is her 147th birthday, so in her honor a photo from one of our past sailings. Those hard working folks in the red shirts are manning the fore braces, waiting for a command to haul like crazy. Just have to imagine what it would’ve been like out there today. Sigh.

As someone whose handwriting is sometimes indecipherable to even me, this kind of freehand drawing is amazing. But the ideas behinds Steven’s new book interest me too, since I often use the internet as a way to find things that then lead me to other things. And I’m always trying to come up with new ideas, too.
